Sandra Erden Jewelry Design Profile Image

Throughout my life, I have always had an eye for beauty particularly in the unexpected or overlooked places, like the shadow ridges of an oyster’s shell, or the simple and clean lines of city skyscrapers. I believe that when you are able to see beauty in the ‘normal’ inspiration will always have a way of finding you. I spent my childhood in Colombia, where I was fascinated by the colors and designs of the gemstone necklaces and bracelets in local jewelry stores. While attending The University of Miami to complete my Bachelor of Science, I was able to spend a portion of my studies focusing on Gemology, which naturally only served to fuel my passion for gemstones and jewelry. I have also had the opportunity to travel to many countries in Asia and Europe and truly believe that these experiences have fundamentally influenced my work for the better. They empowered me to combine different metals, precious and semi-precious gemstones. Today I live in Miami. A land of crystal blue waters, endless palm trees, and tropical flowers. It’s fair to say that these surrounding are reflected in my work as well. As a jewelry maker, I believe we have a commitment to the world around us; the world that give us the resources necessary to create and enjoy the pieces we love. Therefore, we need to make choices that will help us guard the world we live, choosing materials that are ethically sourced. Jewelry is my passion, I am thrilled to be able to share it with you. If you would like to inquire about the availability of custom pieces, please do not hesitate to contact me.
